MCLAG interface keep coming up and down

Hi All,

We have x2 Fortiswitch424E configured MCLAG using x2 10G fortinet DAC Cable.

I encountered an issue where one of the MCLAG interface (port 25) keep coming up and down every few minutes.

Anyone got any idea what's happening?

Below is the error message that I found,

In the logs, we can see a large number of error frames, especially on port 25. Could you share the details of the LAG connection? Which device is on the remote end? What are the hardware and software versions? Also, could you try replacing the DAC cable for port 25? Alternatively, you could swap the DAC cable from port 15 to port 25 and then check if the frame errors persist.

Regards,

Bill

Hi, Port 25 and Port 26 are used for MCLAG between both of our Core switch. Configuration is similar for port 25 and port 26. Somehow port 26 is not affected.

Core switch model is FS-424E. And Software version is 7.6.1.

Logged case with support. They mentioned is due to faulty DAC Cable. Need to RMA.
