Looks like FortiClient 5.4.1 for Windows is out
It looks like ForiClient 5.4.1 for Windows is out(build 0840).
Per the release notes, if you're installing on Windows 7 you may first need to patch Win7 to work around a Win7 problem with SHA-2, per https://technet.microsoft...rary/security/3033929.
Looks like it's mainly bug fixes as opposed to new features, which is good.
The Known Issues list isn't that long (1.5 pages) but has some disturbing items like #370402 Random IPSec disconnects, etc..
Anybody tested it out yet?

I have been testing FortiClient 5.4.1 for a few days.
and it seems solid.
This is what I have tested:
I installed FortiClient EMS, and pushed out the 5.4.1 to a few computers, with all features enabled.
The only thing we noticed is that it will pop up alot of blocked messages while it´s updating it´s signatures.
But if you let it download for a while it stops and starts to act normal, and I guess this is in the known issues section.
Then we tested the Antivirus, it found all my test viruses.
Application Firewall, blocked my Utorrent testing within chrome (it actually blocked chrome completely because that was the bad .exe which generated the traffic, had to shut down chrome and start it again to get it to work.) Probably by design ?
Webfiltering works as expected.
Vulnaribility scan was a real joy, it scanned my computer and then downloaded and patched my computer!
We also have FortiSandbox, which I tested the FortiClient against, getting dynamic signatures from my box, it also worked.
So everything seems to work, except for the Installation/Update issue.
This was on a Windows 10 Insider Preview version (build 14372)
This version seems to be a step in the right direction, have this on 4 computers and 2 servers at the moment, no one is complaining yet.
Right now Im waiting for FortiManager 5.4.1 so I can upload my logs to it.

Hi, I went through the release notes Known Issues and found: BugID: 232764 - SSL VPN connection attempt may stop at 98%. On regular production Windows 10 OS, SSL VPN connection works correctly until after the first system reboot. Susequently, the first connection would still be successfull, but the next is likely to fail at 98%. Workaround: A reboot will again allow new SSL VPN connections to succeed. It is like a joke. Our customers are very angry at Fortinet that has no solution for this long-term problem. FortiClient SSLVPN cannot be used in production at this moment!
