Local LAN setting causing VPN to not connect

Is anyone experiencing an issue with FortiClient VPN when 'Enable Local LAN' is checked with an IPSec configuration? For example, when 'Enable Local LAN' is checked, the VPN will not connect whatsoever. If so, what setting on the FortiGate needs to be changed in order for this to work?

does you home LAN overlap in ip space/subnet with the one from work/vpn? otherwise i wouldnt see an issue with it.

you can read more about it from here, https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Technical-Tip-Unable-to-access-local-LAN-subnet-while-us...

Thanks for your response. I was able to resolve the issue. It seems like this issue happens on FortiClient VPN (Online Installer version). Installing FortiClient VPN version from the FortiClient Portal allowed me to enable Local LAN without breaking it. Something's up with that Online Installer version. Thanks again for your response.
