Link monitor issue

Hi guys,

 

We have configured port5 in HA as path monitoring. There is a failover happened & checked that link monitor is showing dead in secondary firewall which was primary before failover.

 

The Server IP is reachable but link monitor is not coming up. Kindly suggest.

Do you have link monitor setup with

config system link-monitor

on an interface that is not dedicated for management? If so you can only use link-monitor on the primary unit because in HA a shared interface does not have an active IP when it’s the passive unit.
