Licensing issues raising memory form 1Gb to 1.5Gb on a Fortigate-VM00

Hi,

I tried to raise the memory on a Fortigate-VM00 with fOS 5.4.1 from 1Gb to 1.5Gb and upon rebooting the unit came unlicensed.

Out of panic I shut down the firewall, set the memory back to 1Gb and it came back licensed.

Is this normal? Do I have to request a new license if I raise the memory on the FgVM00 after it has been licensed?

The data sheet says "1 - 1.5gb" for VM00. Have you tried slightly less? Like 1.4gb?

I'll try this suggestion to see how it goes, I used 1.5 x 1024 = 1536 Mb when I first tried.
