Hello,
When we are trying to run the below commnads:
exec update-now
We are receiving the below error:
Command fail. Return code -6
We have update the fw license on the portal and it is not reflecting on the fw dashboard
Hi Xavier
On the support portal, do you see the subscription is active for your FortiGate?
If so then try run the following to check where is the issue.
execute ping service.fortiguard.net
execute ping update.fortiguard.net
execute ping guard.fortinet.net
diagnose debug application update -1
diagnose debug enable
execute update-now
Then share the output.
If you run the commands provided by @AEK , and if you have VDOM enabled, please note:
exe ping commands are running in VDOM;
diag debug app commands are running in Global;
exe update-now command is running in Global;
Hi @Xavier_BS ,
If you have VDOM enabled, please make sure that you run the command in Global mode, not in VDOM.
Hello @Xavier_BS,
Please check this article on Device License is not reflecting in FortiGate dashboard
