Intune pushed Forticlient profile keep asking for username and password even though we are using SCEP certificate for sslvpn connection.
Anyone knows how to disabel username prompt?
I’ve seen FortiClient keep prompting for credentials when deployed via Intune if the configuration profile isn’t pushing VPN settings correctly. Double-check that the XML config includes saved credentials or SSO settings, and that user certificates are installed. Sometimes, reassigning the app to the user group and forcing a sync fixes the endless login loop.
Try this:
Check the FortiClient settings to ensure it's using the cert for SSL VPN.
Verify your Intune VPN profile is set to use the SCEP cert for authentication.
Clear saved credentials and reconnect.
