Manual DHCP PPPoE Dedicate to FortiAP

My azure vpn connection seems not to work with pppoe or dhcp adressing mode of the wan interface (tunnel is estabilished but no data transit from my office to the cloud). However, It works fine with manual adressing mode.

i want to know if  pppoe or DHCP adressing mode are  a kind of adress translator.

In fact, in  azure documentation, we can read that :

" it is absolutely imperative for the office ip to not be behind an address translator.
