Inter-VDOM Routing

I have X2 FG 1000c' s in HA running FIOS 5.0 in NAT/Routed mode. I have a number of different VDOMs configured - each VDOM with multiple sub-interfaces and trunk links to different L2 switches on our network. The SVI for these networks exists on the FG. I would like for all of these VDOMs to share the same physical L3 transit link onto our WAN router. Can one physical link be shared across multiple VDOM' s? Are there any downsides to doing this?
