Hello,
I have two subnets on my Fortigate 60E, one on a Physical Interface, and one on a VLAN. Is there any way to create a policy to route traffic between them. The ultimate goal is to potentially have two separate domains be able to communicate to shared devices (Mainly printers) but on the same physical wiring and network.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Within the Fortigate, a VLAN is considered an interface for configuration purposes. Just create policies between your VLAN and your portx (internal, internalx, dmz, etc.) and you're good to go. Now after rereading, the VLAN needs to be tagged for this to work. If you're just passing the two subnets on the same wire without 802.1q tagging then this all falls to the wayside.
