In version 7.4.8 for Fortigate 90G, the support for SSL VPN has been removed. Why is there no mention of this in the documentation? I need the SSL VPN functionality on this device. Where can I address my complaint about the removal of functionality for this model without any warning?

Thanks for this very small notification in the release notes. :(
Thank you for posting the notes, at least I guess it is listed somewhere.
I think the issue the OP is having is that is the only place it is listed for 7.4.x firmware as this is advertised all over the place for 7.6.x.
This is nothing against you for replying with details, again thank you. I feel that the real question for Fortinet is why, and why only the 90G/91G specifically. From the doc its listed as a "Fix" to a SSL VPN bug:
Bug ID: 1026775 - Description: Remove SSL VPN from FG9xG.
I guess I'm just confused. I see no mention of removing SSL VPN from lower/older models like the 60F. In 7.6.x they state that it is removed from all models with 2GB RAM or less, but the 90G/91G have 7547 MB RAM which is well above that.
Converting to IPSec using FortiClient is going to be a pain. Deploying settings for SSL is easy via registry settings but IPSec not so much from my testing. (and importing the settings file doesn't work most of the time if the version is not the same from my testing)
I spent the entire afternoon trying to understand why the SSLVPN disappeared. It's neither correct nor professional for Fortinet to remove such a widely used and hard-to-replace feature with just a single line in the changelog, especially labeling it as a bug!
Even more so considering that, according to Fortinet itself, SSLVPN was supposed to be removed only on models with 2 GB of RAM, and not before version 7.6.
A truly poor way to handle things!
