Impossible to establish VPN connection

Hello,

since yesterday I am no longer able to establish a VPN connection ov my WIN7 desktop PC to a customer using VPN client 5.2.3.0633 (the "light"-version, VPN only). For SSL-VPN I get an an error message "VPN Server can not be reached" after 40%, IPsec VPN does not work at all, no visible attempt to establish a connection.

Strange: Works fine from WIN10 PC with FC 5.4.2.0860 and from Android tablet with 5.4.0.0146.

Of course I checked settings, no difference between WIN7 and WIN10.

Any ideas?

Where can I download a lean VPN FC client without Antiviurs and so on?

Some more investigation revealed:

Similar to situation in February, where I had a similar VPN connection problem, the forticlient connection problem (other VPN connection were and are not affected) came together with a WIN7 update, which changed System LAN settings:

Unchecking the "Use Proxy" preference healed the problem
