Importing more than 1000 logs at a time.

Hi folks!

I'm trying to import >5000 raw log files from backup, spread across 127 devices, using the exec import log ftp ... command from the CLI.

It only seems to import 1000 logs at a time though.

Does anyone know a way to increase this limit?

Edit: Running FAZ VM64 v5.2.2

Kind regards,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Do you mean 1000 log files or 1000 logs?

I checked with dev side, but they didn't see any limitation in code for import log.

regards,

hz

Sorry. Yes. I did mean 1000 log files.

If there's not supposed to be a limit, than I might just log a tac case.

The number of files could be also restricted by ftp server, please check its configuration (try google " ftp server restrict number of file"). If ftp server is OK, please open a ticket and post ticket number here, we will follow up.

I had a look and didn't find any information to suggest that the FTP server is restricting the quantity of files which can be downloaded at a time.

I've tested with a client on my machine and am able to download >1000 files from the server without issue.

I've logged ticket 1414205 in relation to this issue.
