Hi!
I've been trying to add my Fortigate VM (under 15-day eval license) into my Fortimanager VM (also under 15-day eval), without success. The error that I got was "Probe Failed". FMG access is allowed on the Fortigate VM interface.
What do I need to add the Fortigate VM into Fortimanager? A full license? Or is there some config that I might have missed?
Thanks!

You should be able to add 1 FGT VM with eval license to the FMG. Only 1 because each managed device needs a unique serial #. And a FGT eval license just has a generic serial #.
This is not related to license.
Probably the fmfg protocol is not enable on the fgt interface used for this conection, or the user/password for the conection between fgt and fmg is incorrect. Also, the fmg may be in offline mode.
Fmg is reachable from the fgt? The devices can ping each other?
regards,
tioeudes
