Importing Snort signatures into a Fortigate

Hi, has anyone in this forum had any success importing and using the Snort signatures into the IDS/IPS of the Fortigate please? If so, anything I need to be careful with when doing this please? Thanks KG.

KG, RWPatterson had a posting on this over a year ago. If you search for his posts with the " snort" keyword, you should see the posts. He wrote a script that does a decent job of converting Snort to Fortinet format. It' s a little dated and not perfect, but a heck of a lot easier than doing the complete conversion without any help. http://camerabob.dyndns.org:5190/Fortigate/
