IPV4 Policies Sections.

Hello, is there any function/feature, or any predicted in the future that will enable me to create sections on the IPV4 policies?

I know the section view exists, but we have alot of vlan interfaces and "ANY" defined, so the only way to view the policies are with filters but its not very practical.

What I am refering to is just like a folder, just like the section view works, but in this case I can name it whatever I want and drag rules as I please I bit like the Checkpoint Firewall works, like the image attached?

Many Thanks

Hello,

You can right-click on the policy and the "insert section" which is the same functionality you have in the checkpoint will be displayed.

To cope with a high number of VLANs you can consider to put them into a zone. You would then only use the zone in the 'interface' field of a policy. Pro: much less cluttering, Con: you cannot use the zone members individually anymore.

Zones will save your sanity. Especially if you have a ton of interfaces. I don't leave home without them!
