IPTV blocking connection

Hello friends,

I' ve got issue with some enduser i have FortiGate 600E FortiOS 7.2.3  . Some of our customers are using iptv and have trouble with broken connections (the stream works for a few seconds, then it just freezes or sound stops). I can' t find a description of the iptv specifications so I just guess there must be multicast being enabled in the fgt, am I right? I' d like you to give me a hint or a solution if anybody of you just solved this already within own experiences...

note when i stop FortiGate it's working fine without any problem with IPTV

Hello Mohammed,

Please try to configure a multicast policy on the firewall and check if that helps to pass the traffic through the firewall for the IPTV
