IPS & Application Control license expired

does ips sensor stop working after the expiration of the license, or it just disables further automatic definition updates? thanks in advance.

IPS sensor will still work, no new updates. So if you serious about IPS protection, you should keep an active license.

IPS is still working it just wont upgrade the DB until you get the new license
