I am unable to login forticlient vpn. using MACBookPro M2.

I am unable to login forticlient vpn. using MACBookPro M2.

 

error1: when install forticlient:

"Initialize VPN system extension was failed."

 

error2 when configure and login to VPN:

"To connect to a VPN with FortiClient, open Security & Privacy Settings and allow system software from FortiTray."

 

 

Verified full disk access and noticed fmon and fmon2 unable to add there

Reinstalled 5 times forticlient to fix this issue - no success

Can you please share the output of below commands:


# diagnose debug application fnbamd 255
# diagnose debug application sslvpn -1
# diagnose debug console timestamp enable
# diagnose debug enable

 

Also, it is necessary to allow the application FortiTray, then it can connect the Forticlient and verify that there are no conflicts with other software or security settings on your MacBook Pro M2 that might be preventing FortiClient.

What version of Forticlient are you using? 

What is the version of macOS?

 

The reason can be the desktop operating system cannot be compatible with your forticlient version.

FortiClient v7 has made some changes in Mac OS system. Please have a check of the below special notes of FortiClient 7.x on Mac OS and make the corresponding change on the Mac device.
