Hello to all, I am newbie to Fortgate 40F (OS 6.4), We are in the process of connecting BT leasing Line (UK). (IP addresses has been changed)
BT advised us to set up as below, BT installed their own CISCO Router 41.126.33.9.
Fortigate WAN IP : 41.126.33.10
Fortigate LAN IP: 192.168.50.254
I have no idea how to setup Gatway IP 41.126.33.9.
I would apprecaite any input. Thanks in advaice.

IPv4 Directly Connected Section:
IPV4 Network Address : 41.126.33.8
IPV4 Network Mask : 255.255.255.248
IPV4 BTnet NTE Router LAN Address : 41.126.33.9
The 'IPV4 BTnet NTE Router LAN Address' is your default gateway. The 'IPV4 BTnet NTE Router LAN Address' + 1 is your first useable address and should be configured on your equipment. The same format should be followed for IPV6 if you are using those addresses

Hi,
I believe the way to do this would be to set your WAN interface as 41.126.33.10/29
Then set a static route with source 0.0.0.0 and gateway IP of 41.126.33.9
This is how I configured my Virgin Media Business connection with 5 static IPs along with manually configured IP / Gateway.
Hope this helps

Thank you, Mike.
This is exactly I needed to do. I played around a static route with source 41.126.33.10, instead of 0.0.0.0. It didn't work, I didn't realise 0.0.0.0 means "any".
Great help. Have a nice weekend !
what if we remove the BT's Cisco router and configure connection initiator on Fortigate. how it can be configured
