How to select all items in application window?

Hi All, In some case, I want to select a category as the " base" - like Storage.Backup category, and then just take out few applications from the pool... I found no way to multiple select or select all for in the application selection window... this is really dummy.... I have to click the application items row by row.... page by page for total 29 pages!! Does there any wiser method to select the applications effectively?

I ran into this same or similar situation with IPS. If you want to only disable a few applications the only way seems to be selecting everything BUT those few applications/signatures. If there' s an alternative I' d love to hear it. :)
