How to run forti WLC on VM workstation

Hi all, I have the .ova image for the Forti WLC I’m trying to get it working on VM workstation, I’m able to import it and go as far as logging into it through the web GUI however when I try to make any configuration changes I get an error. Has anyone else managed to get it to work? Thanks

Hi,

It would be handy to know what the error is or what are you trying to configure.

You might see that the error relates to administrator access on the network interface as this is a virtual system, normal users would not be able to make any network changes like promiscuous mode.

You might need to make sure the vmx file has the correct ethernet mapping. to my memory it needs to "manual" added as "e1000"
