How to redirect the utgoing connections of particular port to second connection
Hello,
I have 2 interface WAN1 and WAN2 , WAN1 is main connection and WAN2 is failover connection,
As per my current setup if main connection WAN1 goes down firewall will auto switch to second connection WAN2.
My main connection is bit slow now, So I need to redirect all outgoing connection of rdp port 3389 from WAN1 to WAN2 (needed only for rdp port all time )
Please give me the exact steps
My device : fortigate 60C

Hi,
and welcome to the forums.
The feature you are looking for is called "Policy Routing". Usually, routing only looks at the destination address. In Policy Routes the routing is decided by source address, source port, destination address or destination port (like 3389) so it's much more versatile.
Common mumbo-jumbo of IT pros says that Policy Routing 'bends traffic away from the default route'.
Please have a look at the Admin Guide at the section about "Advanced Routing" and "Firewall". IMO, without knowing and understanding the concept of a feature you will not be successful. The actual implementation is peanuts then.
