Hello,
I want to know, how to do soft reboot firewall from fortimanager.
Basically, we need to do shutdown firewall from fortimanager and then restart it after 4 hours from same fortimanager.
How it will work?

Hi Yogendra002,
Maybe this can help you, sending scripts from FMG to FGTs
https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortimanager/7.2.0/administration-guide/910004/schedule-a-script
the script needed for rebooting would be:
"execute reboot
y
"
Be aware of pressing enter after the last line
Regards.

Just to remind, this approach indeed will soft shutdown the Fortigate.
But it will NOT allow you to turn it back after x amount of time.
You`ll have to power it on physically unless the Fortigate you have is a 5/6/7K chassis.
