Version:7.41
Currently, three VLAN segments have been established in the System VLAN and relayed to the DHCP Server and recorded in the log.
Option 82 is enabled, but I want to change the message of option 82
The Option 82 I want to display is intfname vlan hostname mode description
I made the following settings and it works fine on the Switch vlan side.
But it cannot be displayed on the system VLAN, it will become the name VID hostname.
Have the following CLI configured
fortiswitch (global) # show
config system global
set dhcp-circuit-id intfname vlan hostname mode description
set dhcp-snoop-client-req forward-untrusted
set dst enable
set hostname "fortiswitch"
set timezone 04
end
fortiswitch# config switch interface
fortiswitch (interface) # show
config switch interface
edit "port5"
set description "ABCD"
set snmp-index 1
next

Hello @Gazer
As you are using version 7.4.1, so this option should be available as per this guide.
This feature requires FortiOS 7.4.0 or later and FortiSwitchOS 7.2.2 or later. |

But when I used version 7.25, it still didn't work, so I upgraded to 7.41.
I checked the documentation
The reason seems to be that you can override the option 82 settings for DHCP snooping, but not DHCP relay. correct?
That is, in a DHCP relay environment, the option82 message cannot be overwritten.
Or is there any other way?
