Hello, we are using EMS version 7.0.9 and 7.0.10 in our company. we are using an old program that has no update in our users and we want to hide this application from EMS.
We can whitelist it on Forticlient, but we want to do it on the end users' computers. for example, unregister the application from regedit. but I don't know how to do it in the most correct way, can you help?

@EMES
To understand it correctly, you do not want an application to be visible in FortiClient?
You want end-users to not access some particular application from start menu or you want application to not be scanned and sent alerts about update status?
I want an application installed on the computer not to be scanned, I want to hide it on the OS side, not through fortiems
@mesen
We can only advice on FortiClient/FortiEMS side of this because we do not have a lot of insights in Windows OS to hide some particular applications from being recognized by AV.
Excluding applications from protection | FortiClient 6.0.1 | Fortinet Document Library
Exclusions | FortiClient 7.0.0 | Fortinet Document Library
Managing the AntiVirus exclusion list | FortiClient 6.0.0 | Fortinet Document Library
From the EMS side, you can follow the links I sent to avoid scanning some apps and exclude them from protection.
On windows side, there is not much we can advise.
