I have two VDOMs (excluding root / global). 1 is called VDOM_TP which is the VDOM configured in transparent mode and the other is VDOM_ROUTER. For this case I will not be referring to VDOM_ROUTED. I have an SNMP server which needs to receive SNMP traffic from my firewall. I have added the same management IP which I configured when making my firewall transparent.
I am able to use the same management ip for https and ssh and although I have enabled snmp on the same interface as https and ssh, I am not able to get snmp traffic. I have tried using nmap and found that port 161 is block. So this is not an issue of snmp community/user. I saw a fix but it was applicable to V7.6+ so I was wondering if there's a fix for this specific version?
Hello @Aleem,
Do you use a trusted host for your administrator user? If you say yes, you should add the monitoring tool ip address on the trusted host configuration.
