How to export configuration in case fortigate breaks down?

Wondering how to export all the settings and configuration in case we need to replace the fortigate 60e hardware? Basically we need some kind of disaster recovery plan..  Or is the fortigate fairly bullet proof? Ours has been running 24/7 for four years.

Initial setup was done by another company and I would be cluelesss if I had to setup a new one from scratch..

  1. Deploy HA Firewalls
  2. Login to firewall, click admin username, click Configuration, then Backup
  3. Deploy FortiManager or other management solution to take automatic configuration backups.

You can also set up an automation stitch to send config file backups to an external server:

Thanks, but any simpler way to do it all via the web GUI without messing with FTP and such? Just want to grab a simple text file of the config once..  When I try and ssh to 192.168.1.1 it just times out after some minutes..
