Hello,
We are using "FortiGate 100D" firewall with "fortianalyzer 100c" for reporting purpose. I want to delete all internet browsing history from Fortianalyzer. I am confused about this Task will perform from which side : Fortigate or Fortianalyzer ?
I have done one thing from my side after Googling is that I had given below command on FortiGate Command console:
execute log delete-all
But still logs are there and showing after search.
so what i need to do ? Please give me exact solution

Hi there,
you need delete logs from FortiAnalyzer. If you wanna remove all logs and reports, I think the easiest way is:
1. backup your FAZ settings: System Setting->Dashboard->System Information->backup
2. format your FAZ disk: under CLI, exe format disk-ext4
3. restore your FAZ settings: System Setting->Dashboard->System Information->restore
Now all logs and reports are deleted.

Formatting your FAZ disk will destroy all records. If you just want to delete UTM logs you can delete roll UTM log files as well. Under: FortiView > Log View > Log Browse > Search with "wlog" > Manually delete respective wlog(UTM log) files If you want to delete from database also on that case a DB rebuild is required.
