Hi, Experts,
Any document or configuration for Fortigate firewalls ?
If an Internet line has only 100Mbps, how could I tell/configure the link bandwidth to Fortigate, in order to control the bandwidth allocation for different usage, for example:
1. 30Mbps for voice
2. 40Mbps for SAP application
3. 30Mbps for user web surfing
Many thanks for your information in advance.

I think you have to deal with traffic shaping. This is a good starting point https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/6.2.0/cookbook/297431/traffic-shaping look also here https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/5.4.0/cookbook/107907

Hi, Markus,
The FortiOS v5.4.0 seems the idea I want, but not work in FortiOS v6.4.2 ( Fortigate 400E ) ?
Thanks a lot
Hi Benson Why you think this doesn't work in 6.4.x? https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/6.4.1/administration-guide/933502/shared-traffic-shaper
I think this is what you want to achieve?

Hi, Markus,
Thanks so much for your kind help, I tested the Traffic shaper successfully.
A bit different from the document, I used the "Traffic shaper policy" for bandwidth control. and the "per-policy enable" is no need.
This is my first trial, may be some changes for my detailed tests later
