How to convert checkpoint 13500 R77.30 to fortigate issue

[Updated: issue Solved]

Hi anyone,

does anyone have knowledge on how to download the config from this firewall for the forticonverter to work?

They are using Checkpoint Gaia to check checkpoint policies and manage it.

I had tried using the guide provided but it could not work on how to download it.

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/forticonverter/7.0.1/online-help/800698/saving-the-check-point-so...

Solution:

> Saving the Check Point source configuration file from Smart Center(GAIA)

> > >  Both Checkpoint Smart Center & Gateways with version before R80.10

Login to the SSH via Putty.

After login, change the mode to Expert.

Then key pwd to check your current directories.

To confirm the checkpoint version, key in fw ver -k

To list the directories, key  ls -al

To change directories, key  cd

File directories: $FWDIR/conf/object_5_0.C

It will automatically change the directories to /opt/CPsuite-R77/fw1/conf/

Next is to use winscp or scp to export/download the file from the checkpoint to the local desktop.

Thank you Anthony.

Due to the Fortigate is yet to register, i could not open a tech ticket to request for technical help immediate. And i had to resort to this forum for help.

Even their smart Dashboard does not have the Action button as per the image below.

Is there any tools to export the file out?
