How to connect FortiClient Linux CLI to EMS

I am testing EMS and trying to get some linux systems connected to the EMS server but am having difficulties.  We have setup EMS 6.0.5 and have some windows systems communicating with it.  I have tried to setup FortiClient on a couple of Linux systems but can't get it to work.

If I use forticlient_server_6.2.0.0243_x86_64.rpm I can use epctrl -r -a <ems.fqdn> and it seems to work on the client, but then never show up in EMS.  But I have been told by someone else that Forticlient 6.2 can talk with EMS 6.0.5.  So I tried setting up client forticlient_6.0.5.0106_x86_64.rpm on the same system but I can't figure out how to configure the address of the ems server and there does not seem to be any documentation on how to do this.

Anyone have an idea of how to get the Linux systems registered?

I have a request to get licenses for 6.2 to test that version of EMS.
