How to check interface?

Not sure what you are expecting?  I'm currently not in front of my own 40C, but the info returned by running this command should be similar to the following (though not as much info is give on the smaller fgts)...

If you are suspecting a duplex/speed mismatch on your WAN connection, you could try setting/forcing the speed on an interface, like so...

config system interface     edit "<interface name>"         set speed 100full     next end
