How to change back bluetooth broadcast name from 'FortiBlue' to serial number on my FortiGate?

Hi sir,

I have a 81F on hand, last week I tried to flash the bluetooth ptm firmware thru command:

diag bluetooth program ptm

It fails to set bluetooth broadcast name so when I use the FortiExplorer I got name 'FortiBlue' detected but not serial number.

Even I try to flash back the firmware to original version but it still is no change.

Please advise how to change back the bluetooth broadcast name to serial number.

Thanks,

Jacky

Hello Jacky,

Have you already had a look at this document:

Yes, I have did it successfully, but the question is not on connecting FortiGate with FortiExplorer thru BLE, but how to change the bluetooth broadcast name back to serial number, currently I got "FortiBlue" as the broadcast name, even I had tried to program the bluetooth firmware, but the result still is the same, the broadcast name didn't change back to serial number.

In normal situation, the FortiExplorer can detect the FortiGate and show the serial number as detected device(like below screenshot), but on my FortiGate, it shows "FortiBlue" on FortiExplorer.
