How to Enable User Identity on Wired 802.1X with FortiSwitch and FortiGate?

I’m working on a setup with FortiAuthenticator, FortiSwitch, and FortiGate. Wireless 802.1X via FortiAP works perfectly with user identity showing on FortiGate for RSSO, but wired connections through FortiSwitch don’t pass user info to FortiGate. Is it possible to have FortiGate get user and group data from wired 802.1X without using endpoint agents? Any recommended setups or workarounds?

The difference compared to FAP implementation is that the FSW works as a standalone NAS, so if RSSO is going to be used make sure to configure the switch to send RADIUS Accounting packets to FAC.
