How to Configure SMTP of Fortinet "notification.fortinet.com" on FortiAuthenticator
Good morning everyone.
I need to configure an SMTP external to my administration on my FortiAuthenticator (v.6.6.2) to forward FortiTokens.
I would like to use the Fortinet service "notification.fortinet.com" as SMTP, but I can't configure it to work.
Can someone help me?
Thanks.

Not possible. FortiGates are authenticated by their Fortinet-issued certificate when connecting to that server, but FAC cannot be configured to use a client-cert in SMTP configs currently.

hi,
as far as i know, only FortiGate's are configured with the default and can work/send email through that SMTP server.
have tried to set it on a FAC, but doesnt work.
Unable to send a test email: failed to start session, error: Name or service not known. Please check your server configuration.
L.E. it's notification.fortinet.net
