How to ALLOW a specific URL when category or unrated is blocked?

I have Block Unrated Websites on. but, one site we need that isnt rated (and they' re dragging getting themselves rated) gets blocked. The URL Exempt list only stops virus filtering according to the manual. is there a " bypass list" for content/fortiguard filtering???????

I am assuming you have a FortiGuard license. Admin access via browser, Left hand menu option: Web Filter under web filter there are two options " URL" block and exempt.

of course i have a contract. however, the manual for the URL Exempt list states that placing a url in the exempt list exempts that site from VIRUS filtering (who wants that?). it doesnt say it will exempt it from Gortiguard blocking (and, its not becasue i cant access the site if i check block unrated websites.)

submit as a feature change. yep, HUGE security hole.

What about creating a Internal --> External (Specific URL address) HTTP Firewall Policy with a Protection Profile that suits, and have this policy above your default/or other HTTP policies in the policy list

creative work around, works perfectly for small scale URL " exemptions" ...suggest this is more than a " New Feature" request - this should be fixed in future builds. example problem: Fortiguard has categorized a site(s) that is not " accurate" ...a medium to large enterprise could have hundreds of additional Firewall profile entries... that would be " ugly" .
