How often should I reboot 'v5.2.4,build688 (GA)' firewall ?

Hi All,

I have a problem adding firewall to Fortimanager, keep on discovering the device.

Model: 200B

Firmware: v5.2.4,build688 (GA)

Firewall up for more than 320 days, kindly let me know if I reboot the firewall will it fix.

For a lot of reasons you should consider patching the device and not only rebooting it.

Does is have anything to do with "Probe Failed" error. Unable to add the device to FortiManager.

even if there is no issues listed in the FMG release notes - We have seen several issues with earlier FOS releases and FMG or Forticloud central managment....

This is also about your Fortimanager.... With all those devices, it always a good advice to stay at a proper level of patches.
