How do I unblock a port for internal use

Hi all

I am having an issue with my VMware system in that in order to manage it properly tcp port 903 needs to be open.

When I test it using angry IP it says that 903 is filtered for the three VM hosts.

This is all within our local network, I am NOT trying to come through the firewall from outside just from a management PC to the VM hosts.

Thanks

Tracy

You must explain a bit more about your network constellation

and which Fortigate device/Firmware you have. In which network segment are the VMWarestations

and the PC located who managed the VMWare. If it is in the same net then the Fortigate do not involved

because the traffic goes through the switches. If you have a subnet which will be managed by the FG,

then it could be possible a policy-rule problem.
