How do I determine when a Scheduled Patch will be applied?

I am using forticlient.forticloud.com/ems Version 7.4.3 build1926. I have deployed FortiClient 7.4.3.1790 to my endpoints. Initially, when I did a vulnerability scan, I found many. I tried different ways to patch them and most of them got patched. My vulnerability scans still show new vulnerabilities. When I try to patch them they show Patch Scheduled.

 

How do I determine or specify when a Scheduled Patch will be applied?

I found this solution. Can you tell me if it helps, please?

 

To determine or specify when a scheduled patch will be applied in FortiClient EMS, follow these steps:

  1. Access FortiClient EMS Console: Log in to your FortiClient EMS console.

  2. Navigate to Patch Management: Go to the section where patch management is configured. This is typically under the "Endpoint Profiles" or "Patch Management" tab.

  3. Review Patch Schedule Settings: Check the settings for patch deployment. There should be options to configure the schedule for when patches are applied. This can include specific times, dates, or frequency (e.g., daily, weekly).

  4. Modify Schedule if Necessary: If you need to change the schedule, adjust the settings to specify the desired time and frequency for patch application.

  5. Save Changes: Ensure that any changes made to the patch schedule are saved and applied to the relevant endpoint profiles.

  6. Monitor Patch Status: After scheduling, monitor the status of patches to ensure they are applied as expected. This can be done through the EMS console, where you can view the status of scheduled patches.

 

By following these steps, you can manage and specify when patches will be applied to your endpoints using FortiClient EMS.

Someone else suggested this solution but my FortiClient EMS 7.4.3 build 1926 does not show Patch Management. 

 

I was told that option is not available until FortiClient EMS Cloud can access my local AD.
