How HA unite works

Hi All,

Is there anyone who can describe that if anyone primary unites gets the fail then what happens first?.

let us know step by steps procedure because this question has been asked during the interview.

I don't know what the intention of the interviewer was. But I would reply 1) the primary detects the wan down based on monitoring the interface and shares the info through the hardbeat connection with the secondary. 2) a primary selection starts base on the flow in below doc then the secondary becomes the new primary.
