High latency issues with FAP112D & FAP224D

Hi,

We have experienced high latency issues with both the FAP112D & FAP224D. Both APs are connected to the Fortigate. When we use youtube to stream 4K video. the latency about 900ms to 1000ms. Is this look normal ?

Both APs used the latest firmware.

We are seeing this issue also, poor performance / high latency issues even for pings from wifi to internal servers

1st of all is in tunnel mode ?

2nd did you apply any wids profile? if not can you and test it again ?

Make sure ethernet link of the AP's is negotiated to 1G instead of 100M.

If not force it on switch as FAP does not have option to manually set speed

If this is not the issue,look for interference level in the coverage area. 

For 2.4 GHz,configure 3 different AP profiles  each with channel 1,6 or 11 and assign different profiles on nearby AP's in such a way that no close by AP's broadcast on the same channel.
