Hide IPAM from GUI possible?

Seeing IPAM on several places in the FortiGate 7.4.x GUI. I understand its use but wont be using it on this deployment.

Is there a way to turn it off in the GUI? Dont seem to find it in the feature visibility.

Hi boneyard,

You can disable the IPAM feature with the help of the below commands:

config system global
set fortiipam-integration disable
end

I hope it will help you.

Thanks Kaman.

I gave that a try, but it doesn't seem to exist in 7.4.1. I see it referenced for some other versions though. Is this going to be added to the 7.4. train?

Hello @boneyard ,

Thank you for contacting the Fortinet Forum portal.

Can you please verify the article steps below:

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/7.0.0/new-features/374095/configure-ipam-locally-on-the...

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/7.4.1/administration-guide/166728/configure-ipam-locall...

In the articles you can disable to whole firewall and also individual interfaces if you would prefer.

-By default, it looks like these options are disabled.

Best regards,

Manasa.

Hi @boneyard,

I don't think you can remove IPAM from appearing on the GUI. It was added to the GUI since 7.2.1.
