Help - policy bandwith limitation per user (based on IP or Device)

hello there,

currently our office use FG-60F with firmware 7.2.4

I want to give internet bandwidth limit per user (based on assigned IP or Device).

is it possible?

schema network is:

ISP -> Fortigate -> Wifi -> Clients

DHCP provided by Fortigate.

anyone please, can give guidance step by step?

Hi @kssupport ,

you can configure per-ip-shaper. It will allow you to limit the number of connections and the up/down bandwidth limit per source IP address.

You can configure with both user-based and IP addresses with the help of traffic shaping for bandwidth limitation.
