Help on Evaluation license expiration and not able to add to my forticloud account

Please, i need help on the fortigate VM license expiration. 

 

I have tried to link the device to my FortiCloud but it keep given a serial number error. If you can help with the detail below i would be grateful.

Can you confirm if this is a fully featured license given to you by the sales rep for evaluation or are you trying to setup the FortiGate to use the permanent trial with limited functionality?

 

In the case of EVAL license (fully-featured) , you would need to request your sales rep to have it extended, once you have confirmed that the services have been extended which you can by logging into your support portal and checking the contract dates. 

 

If confirmed that it is extended you can then download the license file and upload it to the VM. 

 

Ensure you have taken a config backup prior, also when uploading confirm that there is FortiGaurd connectivity. 

 

In the event this is a trial (permanent trial) with limited functionality please be aware that it is limited to one instance per account.
