Hi everybody,
I'm looking for the wiring diagram in order to run the HQIP firmware on a Fortigate 100D.
In the diagnose wiki:
there is only a wiring example for a 60C but 100D has much more ethernet ports.
Can somedody help me?
Thank You
Matteo

last time I had to run HQIP there was a note how to connect the cables.
Did you start the HQIP image and did you read everything carefully?
Refreshing this very useful question, I must say that this aspect of HQIP diagnostics is very poorly documented (hence, I've found this forum post in search for the same answer).

You're quite right, the HQIP does show the 'diagram' how to connect the cables if you want. The problem is, in the KB article (http://wiki.diagnose.fortinet.com/index.php/Running_an_HQIP_(Hardware_Quick_Inspection_Package)_test) it says this, to the letter:
Hopefully, you'll agree that it is quite confusing, especially if you've never run the HQIP before. And most people, luckily, didn't. It asks you to wire the interfaces before actually installing and running the HQIP firmware.
But, you are right, once the test is run, it does instruct you how to do the wiring.
