hi, and sorry you' re stuck. Maybe it isn' t so grave after all. First thing, it looks like a USB device is connected, is that possible? If yes, then unplug and reboot, and repost if there still are error messages. If not, reformat the FGT and rebuild from scratch. You need a recent backup file, and you will lose all logs. 1. Reboot, and stop the boot process by hitting a key. 2. on the PC which is serially attached, launch a TFTP server. I recommend the tftpd32 from Phillippe Jounin here: http://tftpd32.jounin.net/tftpd32_download.html 3. You need the correct firmware image and the config file in the upload directory of the TFTP program. 4. Reformat the unit; will reboot at the end 5. stop boot process, reload the firmware via TFTP 6. reboot 7. if all is fine, reload the config via TFTP; will reboot 8. check for config errors in the CLI (console window): ' diag deb conf read' That' s all. Let us know how it worked.

It' s a 80C with a faulty flash disk, unfortunately happens more than usual on Gen2 80C' s with 1 Gb memory

Eric, I have about 10 80C' s in the field and they all have some sort of problem, either the above where it crashes and I have for Format and reload config or high CPU issues. Is there any documentation on this " faulty" flash disk so I can get them replaced?? Thanks, Steven

Hello neoadiga, I had the same error message "ERROR: Bulk read CSW ret = -32" on my FortiGate 200B, have you solved this problem?

And, I found a document as follow

https://static.spiceworks.com/attachments/post/0016/2938/FG-80C_boot_failure.pdf

It seems to take effect.

But I can't find the format image with FGT200B, does anyone know where to download the format image ?
