HA Active-Standby and teaming connections
Hi all,
I have a question in regards of the HA (Active Standby) and teaming connection on SWITCH PORTs.
Both fortinet (200D) monitor the green ports (the upper switch connections) and if a failure occur the STANDBY became MASTER (and vice versa) but the connection on the servers remains unreachable probably because the teaming do not recognize the firewall's role switch.
Server's ports connected to the firewalls are "set type hard-switch".
How can I manage this scenario? or any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Could you try something for me?
Try connecting the FortiGate interfaces for one server to a small switch (or a vlan) and connect that to your server NICs and try disabling one FortiGate
Also check your arp -a record while the slave is active
