Hello FNAC admins,
What's really the difference between normal guest/contractor profile and guest kiosk profile ? I've seen that in guest/contractor you have to send the user their credentials and in kiosk they can create their own account. Can anyone give me a use case to use the guest kiosk instead of guest/contractor ?
BR,
Hey,
The benefits are the following
-Reduces a sponsor’s workload because guests create their own accounts.
-Frees up IT staff from having to create accounts
-Makes it easier for guests visiting short-term to have network access.
-Allows guests immediate network access without depending on someone to do it for them.

Hello,
Yes I've already read that in the documentation, I want a use case for this feature, like a real life example when to use it.
BR,
I am trying to understand your question,
It can be used for corporate offices that have short time guests over all the time, hotels, hospitals and so on.
So what's really the difference between normal guest/contractor and kiosk ? why both of these exist if they do the same job
Well,
They both meant to grant access to the network.
In my opinion the most differences are the process, one is a manual process and the other is more automatic without the need of staff or anyone, while still having compliance and security.
Okay I see, well thank you for your answer and for the help.
