General Settings for Fortigate 100A

Hi, I' m not really familiar with the Fortigate, just trying to do everything by using the docs provided. I have some concerns/questions when doing the Fortigate 100A general settings setup. Scenario: We have a Cisco pix firewall that needs to be replaced by the Fortigate100A. I have site2site vpn connections setup on the Cisco and all our staff uses vpn client Cisco to connect remotely to the office. I' m really in the beginning of all these setup/configurations: I would really appreciate it if someone could advise in the following: Default Gateway --> This is the IP of my currenct Cisco Pix, right? Primary DNS Server --> Our DC is our DNS server, so I would need to specify the IP of our DC here, right? Secondary DNS Server --> we don' t have that, I can leave that blank, right? NAT/Route Mode settings: I don' t really understand what IP' s and netmasks I need to place for the " Internal Interface" and " WAN1" Can anyone explain to me how this is setup and what IP' s are required? When does one need " WAN2" ? and What IP do I need to specify here? We will not be using DMZ, can I leave these blank? As you can see, I have very little knowledge on this.... I just graduated....so this is my first practical encounter I would really appreciate it if someone could advise me on this. Thanks!!! SOEN
